Disability Justice & COVID-19 [Webinar]

This webinar “Disability Justice & COVD-19” was hosted on May 8, 2020. It featured Dorian Taylor (webinar organizer), Elandria Williams, Lateef Mcleod, Leroy Moore Jr, and chat moderation by Cyree Jarelle Johnson (webinar organizer). All of whom work at the nexus of class, race, and disability, either on-the-ground or contributing in other ways. It was a self-funded/organized effort without the support of any institutions. HEARD & Talila A. Lewis (webinar organizer) contributed to the coordination of access and funding of the platform + a portion of the interpreting/captioning services. The artwork for the flyer was adapted from Jacob Lawrence’s Harlem Series: Harlem Hospital's Free Clinic Is Crowded with Patients Every Morning and Evening, 1943. This webinar was a continuation of Grounding Movements In Disability Justice.
